Always a free event, the two-hour parade has historically been one of the largest in the U.S. and plans to include over 100 entries to delight the Irish and Irish-at-heart.

Alamo Irish Festival 2008
March 14-16, 2008
A free three day event with Irish music, dance, food, crafts and games. It follows with pipes and echo taps The festival is at La Villita on the river walk.

On March 17th we hold solemn ceremonies at the Alamo at High Noon in memory of those of Irish Birth and descent who died for the defense of Texas there in 1836.
